Terms & Disclaimer
Walkers' Wall is a planning and inspiration aid for walking Hadrian's Wall — not an official authority on the route, its services, or its history. Please read this before you rely on it.
Walking is your responsibility
You are responsible for your own decisions and safety on the ground — route choice, navigation, timing, fitness, and turning back when you should. Parts of the Wall are remote and exposed, and weather changes fast. Carry a proper map and compass (and know how to use them), suitable kit, and enough food and water. Don't depend on your phone, a signal, or this site as your only means of navigation.
Information can change
Details of accommodation, cafés, pubs, shops, toilets, drinking water, transport, path conditions and access are compiled from third-party and open sources. They can change, close, move, or run out — often at short notice — and opening times and availability are never guaranteed.
- Treat everything here as a starting point, not a promise.
- Check directly with the provider before you rely on a stop, a bed, or a service.
- Confirm public transport and parking with the operator on the day.
Historical reconstructions are interpretive
The Roman-period views, c. AD 200 fort reconstructions, terrain visualisations and related imagery are interpretive and illustrative. They are built from the available evidence and reasonable inference to help you picture the frontier — they are not survey-accurate, archaeological, or legal representations of what stands on the ground today. Where the ground and the picture disagree, the ground wins.
Your purchase
A Wall Pass is a one-time purchase that gives fixed-period access — there is no subscription and nothing auto-renews:
- Wall Pass — £7.99, access for 21 days
- Wall Planner — £14.99, access for 30 days
- Wall Year — £24.99, access for 365 days
Your access runs from purchase until the end of the period you bought, then simply ends. You are not charged again. Payment is handled securely by Stripe; we don't see or store your card details.
Recovering your access
Your pass is tied to the browser you unlock it in. Keep your checkout email to hand; it is used for access recovery where available if you change device or lose access within your paid period.
No warranty
Walkers' Wall is provided in good faith and "as is". To the extent the law allows, we can't accept liability for loss or harm arising from decisions made using the site or from information that has changed. Nothing here limits liability that can't lawfully be limited.
